Twin Birthday Month
People are always surprised to learn that Nicole & I share a birthday. Yes, we’re considered Irish twins being born on the same day, April 12th, a year apart. Despite being twins, we’re exhibit different personalities, so we try to incorporate things we both enjoy on our birthday. We ended up turning it into a birthday weel long cekebratopn. We had several yummy meals, amazing gifts, and to top it off seeing a Broadway show; we got to see Hadestown at The France-Merrick Performing Arts Center (The Hippadrome) in Baltimore.
We love musicals and Greek mythology, so this was an interesting twist on the Greek tragedy of Orpheus and Eurydice and their trip through the Underworld. There are many great songs featred on the soundtrack, as the songs have been stuck in my head.

Grimm's Complete Fairy Tales by by Jacob Grimm & Wilhelm Grimm
No library's complete without the classics! This new, enhanced leather-bound edition collects the legendary fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm. They are the stories we've known since we were children. Rapunzel. Hansel and Gretel. Cinderella. Sleeping Beauty. But the works originally collected by the Brothers Grimm in the early 1800s are not necessarily the versions we heard before bedtime. They're darker and often don't end very happily--but they're often far more interesting.
This elegant edition of Grimm's Complete Fairy Tales includes all our cherished favorites--Snow White, Rumpelstiltskin, Little Red Cap, and many more--in their original versions. With specially designed end papers, a genuine leather cover, and other enhancements, it's the perfect gift for anyone looking to build a complete home library. Many of these tales begin with the familiar refrain of “once upon a time”--but they end with something unexpected and fascinating!

Expanding Cracks: Into the Void: Book Two by Ben Pick
After saving their hometown from a rampaging monster, Rachel, Tracy, and Derek are wary of the extra attention. Some praise them, others fear them, while many think the fight was an elaborate hoax. Buried under mountains of schoolwork, they’re failing to find the balance in their lives.
Cracks to the void continue to open, allowing more destructive monsters to breach their world. Can they stop these otherworldly attacks and fix the devastation they caused or will they be revealed to be fake heroes as their world crumbles?
